In August 2025, the publication Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for Young Refugees – Practical Examples and Lessons Learned was released. It summarises the results of the Erasmus+ project.

In September 2025, the WHO CC hosted the annual meeting of the European Expert Group on Sexuality Education in Cologne.

 

In addition to the discussions on new discourses and new developments, the meeting focused on the update of existing publications and the development of new publications.

On 16 May 2025, the final conference of the Italian pilot project EduForIST took place in Bari. The WHO CC gave a presentation on sexuality education in the WHO European Region, with a special focus on current research topics and new discourses in research since 2010.

On 26 November 2024, the project coordinating countries Germany, Turkiye and Serbia are going to facilitate the international meeting on "Sexual and reproductive health services for young refugees". This meeting is part of the project "Sexual and reproductive health of young refugees - good practices and lessons learned"supported by the Erasmus+…

In September 2024, the Federal Ministry of Health invited the German WHO Collaborating Centres to a networking meeting in Berlin.

In August 2024, the WHO CC invited the European Expert Group on Sexuality Education to the annual meeting in Cologne.

In June 2024, the WHO CC participated in a conference on reproductive justice in the refugee context in Bern, Switzerland. New input and ideas were gathered for the Erasmus+ project “Sexual and reproductive health and rights for young refugees – best practice and lessons learned within the European Region”.

On 8 May 2024, a transnational meeting was held during which the partner countries (Germany, Serbia and Turkey) presented their results from the national meetings and the national survey.

From 01 until 04 May 2024, the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health is going to host their 17th Congress of the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health 'Sexual Rights and Contraception in a Turbulent World' in Bilbao.

The WHO CC will share results of one of their projects.

At the end of March 2024, the BZgA will unite stakeholders in the areas of eduaction, sexuality education as well as sexual and reproductive health related to refuge for exchange
